Walmart, Amazon and Target Sales, a Cease & Desist, Contests and More!

Hello Black Friday Subscribers,

I know everyone is anxious for the next Black Friday advertisement to
be released, and while we still have no new ads to report on, we still
have a lot of sales information to cover.

This Saturday and Sunday (Nov 6-7), Walmart is having their Amazing
Electronics Event ( http://bfads.net/Link/1624 ) both in-stores and
online! The in-store sale starts at 8am, but the online sale has the
possibility to start earlier (current online time is TBD).

Last year, Walmart had the same sale where they had multiple items
either at or below Black Friday prices. The hot item last year was the
Xbox 360 w/ $50 gift-card, which was not available on Black Friday.
This year, the hot items appear to be the Sony PlayStation 3 Console
w/ Move Bundle and $50 Gift Certificate for $399
( http://bfads.net/Link/1620 ) and a Vizio 26" 720p LED LCD HDTV for
$198 ( http://bfads.net/Link/1608 ). Full sales information is available
in our news post here:
http://bfads.net/Walmarts-Saturday-Electronics-Sale

We will continue to update the post throughout the week as we learn
more about the sale and products included.

We're only three days into November and retailers are already kicking
off their full-forced sales drives leading up to Black Friday. We've
summarized four going on right now below:

- Walmart's Amazing Online Specials featuring a
  32" 720p LCD for $299 here:
  http://bfads.net/Link/1598

- Target has started their Great Holiday Toy Sale here:
  http://bfads.net/Link/1602

- Amazon is continuing to run their Get Three Games for the Price of
Two on over 800 video-games sale here:
  http://bfads.net/Link/1592

- NewEgg has started their Black November sale, which goes on all
  month, here:
  http://bfads.net/Link/1600

Many of the items included in the Target Toy Catalog
( http://bfads.net/Target-Toy-Book-2010 ) require in-ad coupons to get
the final sale price (coupons begin in the advertisement on page 13 in
the PDF here: http://bfads.net/Adscans ). These coupons can be used
both in-store and online (the online coupon code is on the back of the
coupon).

Full information on all of the above sales is available in our news
post here: http://bfads.net/The-November-Sales-Begin

Everyone should remember that these sales are not necessarily "Black
Friday
" caliber, but feature a greater variety of items on sale than
will be available on Black Friday. We'll be covering all of these
sales and more throughout the week, so be sure to stay tuned!

Ending the email on a light note, yesterday we received a letter via
registered mail from Home Depot. We thought it'd be a letter of them
expressing their love for BFAds, how useful they find our site and how
much they appreciate us for promoting their sales. So imagine our
surprise when it turned out to be a hastily sent, preemptive cease and
desist letter ( http://bfads.net/Link/1626 ) that was addressed
to a competitor's site!

To return the favor, we sent a letter (read it here:
http://bfads.net/Link/1628 ) back to Ms. Mueller along with a
BFAds Golden T-Shirt! That's right, the first publicized winner of our
Golden T-Shirt contest is Ms. Trish Mueller, VP of Advertising for
Home Depot!

Congratulations to her and we look forward to her picture to claim the
$100 gift-card!

Speaking of contests, we are now on the third day of our November
Give-Away Contest and today's prizes are four $50 gift-cards and 20
BFAds t-shirts. If you haven't entered the contest yet, you can do so
here: http://bfads.net/Contest

Today's give-away ends tonight, November 1st, at 11:59:59 CST. You
only need to enter the November Holiday Give-Away Contest once (for
the month) and you will be eligible for every daily give-away.

We are also on our third day of our Facebook-exclusive contest where
we are giving away another $100 gift-card. Become a Fan of BFAds on
Facebook ( http://facebook.com/BFAds ) and answer the daily
question on our wall for a chance to win!

We hope to see at least a couple Black Friday advertisements appear
this week, but in the meantime, there's plenty of other sales going on
now or in the very near future to keep us all occupied.

Thanks for Subscribing and Tell Your Friends!

Kind Regards,
Michael
