Yahoo Partners with Coupon.com and Reveals Yahoo Deals

For those that like to use coupons Yahoo has revealed is new Yahoo Deals website. Now shoppers can find printable coupons, daily deals that send you directly to the merchants website and weekly ads; where you choose retailer’s fliers or circular and check out their sale merchandise. You can also keep track and save your coupons.
You can also shop or find out how to save money if you use your Visa card.
Why are they getting involved with coupons? According to their findings, searches for the term “printable coupons” are up 50% this year measured up to the same time last year and up 135% from 2007. The most popular searches are or major retailers, groceries and local pizzerias. Due to the economy coupon collecting has become a necessity for saving money.
With a partnership with Coupons.com, Yahoo is offering printable online coupons for the following categories, to name a few,

and coupons for almost 10,000 retailers. They also have local store and grocery store coupons. Yahoo also has a gas finder widget where you can enter your zip code and find the cheapest gas closest to you.
According to a study Yahoo has found 43% of respondents are using coupons more while 76% say if it is easier to find coupons they are more likely to use them. Yahoo feels they can make finding and collecting coupons on their website an easy place to manage and come across deals that are relevant to your needs.
Spending millions in advertising Yahoo is using a number of social media features so users can promote their site through email, Twitter or Facebook. Spread the word and help others save.
