The Best Kept Secret of Couponing

To maximize your potential to get groceries and products free here is a secret of couponing.

Coupons for "One Free Item."

When hunting for coupons in your Sunday paper, on the Internet or getting fliers or emails from the stores where you shop you may be surprised to find free products. Buy one, get one (BOGO) coupons are the easiest coupons to find with little or no effort.

When the store has a sale, I use the BOGO coupons for the free item and it is like you get two of that item for free instead of one. How does it work? If you have a coupon for BOGO on a loaf of bread, it will state the value of the coupon when redeemed at the store. The value is also the normal cost of the bread. But when the loaf of bread is on sale they are selling two loafs for the value of the coupon. Getting one free item is good, but two is even better. So don’t rush to the store when you get your BOGO save it until they have a sale. It pays to wait, but don’t forget to watch the expiration date. If the store doesn’t have that item on sale you can still redeem it and get your free item.
